Westport Innovations is dedicated to leading the shift of the international commercial engine industry from oil-based to gaseous fuels. We develop technologies that allow diesel engines to operate on alternative fuels such as natural gas, propane and hydrogen. Our market is anything that requires a diesel engine from transportation and industrial applications to power generation.

In addition, through our business unit Westport Testing, we offer the testing and engineering expertise of Westport to external clients. Westport has been recognized as the world leader in gaseous fuel engine technology. Our state-of-the-art facilities in Vancouver, Canada total over 7,400 m2 (78,000 ft2) of laboratory and office space.
