The Wall Street Journal continued to speculate this morning that Vancouver-based Hootsuite has secured $35 million in new financing from a group led by Fidelity Investments.
The supposed financing will give Hootsuite, one of Canada's most high-profile technology firms pegged to go public, an implied value of close to $800 million.read more

Montreal's Breather announced today they have closed a $6 million Series A round led by RRE Ventures. Also contributing to the round are Real Ventures, SOS Ventures, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
Breather's total funding to date is $7.5 million.
