Accessing Funds in Challenging Economic Times
You could be eligible to receive funding for work you are already doing!
If your company is striving to enhance its competitive edge through product development or by making improvements to your existing products or services there’s a good chance you qualify for cash refunds from the SR&ED program.
The SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) tax credit and refund incentive program is a Government of Canada and Province of BC initiative designed to encourage product development and innovation among Canadian businesses - like yours.
Many companies in the digital media world can qualify to receive a refund of $68,000 cash for every $100,000 spent.
You don't need a high-tech lab or news-making breakthrough, many business-as-usual activities qualify as SR&ED.
What’s more, bank financing is available to businesses, based on the amount of the expected SR&ED refund.
At this seminar, you will learn:
• If business activities that make up your day-to-day operations qualify for an SR&ED refund or tax credit
• The amount of money you can expect to receive
• How to access this funding
• When banks will accept anticipated SR&ED funding as present security
• The inside story on the CRA’s internal SR&ED refund approval process
Who should attend?
If you are interested in accessing SR&ED funding or SR&ED - secured bank financing, this seminar is relevant to you. Networking catered lunch is included. Space is limited.
Revenue Services Group http://www.revenueservices.ca is Western Canada's largest SR&ED advisory. Our expertise is in identifying those ‘business-as-usual’ activities that qualify for a refund. We work with the CRA to identify qualifying activities for businesses engaged in digital media, technology and IT development.
