In partnership with New Media BC, the Anton Sledgehammer Creative Agency will present a case-study on the Canucks Fan Zone, a user-generated editorial and fan media web portal followed by a good old fashion networking mixer.
Bruce Warren and Jamie Ollivier, the Creative Directors of Anton Sledgehammer, http://www.antonsledgehammer.com will walk the audience through the process and experience of building a global community focused on the Vancouver Canucks.
From the genesis of the concept to implementation, the case-study will explore the issues and challenges associated with this kind of community-building. Bruce and Jamie will explain how they worked with their client to create a world-class 100% User-Generated Content News & Media Portal: "Your Alternative Canucks News Source."
In addition, the case-study will include Fan Zone contributors, bloggers and podcasters who will share their experiences as "Citizen Journalists."
The session will conclude with a Q & A, prize giveaways from EA sports and the Canucks, followed by some good old fashioned social networking with drinks and appy's (First drink and appetizers are included).
