Attention all aspiring designers, developers and DIYers!
Myplanet, a UX design and technology development company (myplanet.io) is hosting a free 10-day workshop in Vancouver called 'Fellowship Intensives'. The program teaches college and university students how to build their own digital products and how to work as an effective member of a production team. We're looking for talented design & dev students who have a passion for the web and want to gain industry experience.
You'll learn about user-centred design, software development, agile methodologies and collaborative programming techniques in the context of building your own web product. Dedicated mentors will guide you through the design and development process, and at the end of 10 days you'll have a working app or web service to add to your portfolio. You may also be considered for full-time employment at Myplanet upon successful completion.
Participation is completely free. You must be a current student or a recent grad studying in a related discipline, but previous web experience is not necessary.
Intensives takes place from August 18 - August 27, full-time from 10:00am - 6:00pm daily. You must be able to commit to participating for the full 10 days.
Applications are still open until July 30, 2014. Apply online: fellowship.myplanet.io
