Management Day

On Wednesday, February 29, from, 9am to 5pm, we invite you to our first ever Management Day event at the North York Memorial Hall 5100 Yonge Street (near the North York Centre subway). We have two great presenters who will speak to being open and being agile in technical communications.

Our first presenter, Janet Swisher, will teach us how to collaborate with others on documentation in Lessons in Community from Open-Source Projects. Janet has worked in technical communication since 1999 and she is currently working on developer documentation for Mozilla.

Our second presenter, Gil Broza will cover The Human Side of Agile, helping us understand everyone's roles in an agile project. His forthcoming book, "The Human Side of Agile Management: How to Help Your Team Deliver", will guide Agile managers in growing and leading their teams to outstanding performance.
