In September of this year, new media aficionados from across Quebec, Canada and New England will gather in Montreal for a two-day podcasting and new media conference. PodCamp Montreal is based on a model which has been successfully implemented in cities such as Toronto, Boston, New York, Chicago, Perth and Berlin.
Participants will include new media enthusiasts and professionals specializing in blogging, podcasting, Facebook, YouTube and social networking. PodCamp Montreal’s volunteer organizing committee includes some of Montreal’s top podcasting and social media specialists, such as Sylvain Grand’Maison, Julien Smith, Bob Goyetche, Jean-François Blais, Laurent LaSalle, Laurent Maisonnave, Hugh McGuire, Casey McKinnon, Harold Boeck and Michelle Sullivan.
PodCamp Montreal is a not-for-profit event. Our goal is to connect people and help further promote and develop social media expertise in Montreal.
PodCamp Montréal 2008 is set on September 20th and 21st, at Pavillon de Design de l’UQAM.
