Western Canada’s top early and growth stage companies are categorized for the convenience of investors specifically interested in particular sectors. Entrepreneurs will present in 4 categories: GAMES, MOBILE, WEB 2.0/SOCIAL MEDIA and NEW PLATFORMS & APPLICATIONS.
Pitch Platform: Presenting companies receive training by industry experts and undergo some serious vetting during the Fusion Entrepreneur Boot Camp. The top 20 presenters will be selected from up to 50 firms and be allotted 5 minutes each to pitch their ventures on Nov 12. Only the top 10 will go on to one-on one meetings with investors the following day.
Keynote and Success stories: Digital Media experts including Steve Wandler of Yourtechonline.com, Kelowna’s own home grown success story, who will share his journey and experiences in raising capital from friends and family to various Angels and VCs, to being acquired by Silicon Valley’s Support.com.
NEW FOR INVESTORS: Private Investor round table sessions where visiting investors meet with local investors to discuss current issues in the digital media industry, the investment climate and opportunities, followed by private one-on-one meetings with the top 10 companies selected from the Forum.
