transmission: GLOBAL SUMMIT 2012 is an international event that brings together leaders, thinkers, creators and entrepreneurs from the creative content and technology ecosystems looking to collaborate, connect and evolve.

Taking place in Victoria, Canada, and running for the 7th year in a row, transmission: GLOBAL SUMMIT, is the unique, invite-only think-tank gathering designed to bring together key players in the creative and technology industries to exchange and leverage ideas linked to the growing creation and monetization of digital creative content.

New this year to transmission: GLOBAL SUMMIT is the inaugural business accelerator program, the Transmission Institute Innovation Camp, taking place from January 23rd to February 10th. Held for the 3 weeks leading up to transmission: GLOBAL SUMMIT at Royal Roads University, the accelerator will take 5 start-ups comprised of international professionals, technologists and entrepreneurs working in the digital content sectors under the age of 30. Start-ups will be integrated and showcased throughout the conference allowing delegates first viewing and partnership opportunities.

The transmission: GLOBAL SUMMIT conference will once again feature over 50 signature roundtable sessions, keynote presentations, B2B discussion forums, and cutting-edge live showcases featuring creators in music, digital media, TV/film, and more.

An initiative of the Transmission Institute, transmission: GLOBAL SUMMIT is by invitation-only and allows for up to 150 international attendees. Transmission Institute’s event roster also includes the Eastern-focused transmitCHINA, and new in 2012, transmitBRAZIL and transmitISRAEL.
