Mobile Accelerator Program Workshops.

The mobile start up market is booming. The Mobile Accelerator Program (MAP) provides both opportunities and challenges for start up companies to find their place in the marketplace.

MAP, presented by the MEIC, is a six-part series of half-day workshops offered to help entrepreneurs navigate the constantly changing marketplace towards success.

Starting January 19th and running once every two weeks, MAP will bring in experts in the following areas:

Market Trends– January 19, 2012
Business Models – February 2, 2012
Accessing Markets – February 16, 2012
Financing – March 1, 2012
Attracting and Retaining Talent – March 15, 2012
Sales Strategies – March 29, 2012

Each workshop will be followed by networking events offering participants time to mingle with angels, VC’s, researchers, and graduate students.

Space is limited to 40 companies at a fee of $250 per company. Each participating company may send up to three representatives per workshop.

Included in the MAP program fee is one Full Corporate MEIC membership. MEIC offers programs for members for the purpose of partnership, collaboration, research, and business development.

MAP is offered in partnership with OCAD University and George Brown College.

Funding for MAP is provided by the City of Toronto and NRC IRAP.
