A 48 hour videogame tournament taking place August 1, 2 and 3rd at the Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver. This event is a fundraiser for the development and building of a non-profit digital media educational centre for youth in Aldergrove, BC.
Digital Storm LAN is the only sanctioned World Cyber Games Regional Qualifying location in BC for 2008.
Also appearing at Digital Storm is the up and coming UK rock group Mendella, appearing free of charge to give a private performance to our gamers, staff and sponors.
We have seats for 350 gamers. Gaming platforms are Wii, Xbox 360 and PC.
Tickets are $45.00 each for 48 hours of rabid gaming - straight through from 4pm Friday August 1 until 4pm Sunday August 3.
The event is desperately in need of more sponsors for prizes and equipment. If you or your company can help out, we would greatly appreciate it, especially with power distribution and network equipment. We do recognize sponsors in our marketing materials and on our web sites. We also have event shirts, those sponsors who confirm before July 5th will have their logo on the shirt back.
