Usability Facilitators?

Hi.
I am interested in exploring the world of useability testing. I am not so much interested in the technical end of it, my skills are more people-oriented. I have a lot of experience as a facilitator, and a friend recently told me he thought I would make a great useability facilitator. Does anyone out there do this kind of work, and would be interested in doing an information interview with me?
Thx,
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,
While I have done this kind of work and I'd be happy to share some of my experiences with you, you should also be aware that there are meetings that are held where a lot of full-time usability facilitators should probably be in attendance: the VanUE (Vancouver User Experience - http://www.vanue.com/) Group. There will be a meeting this coming Thursday (April 26th) at the Vancouver Film School at 420 Homer Street. There will also be a social networking meeting afterwards at Chill Winston in Gastown and prior to the meeting there will be a social and networking period (from 5-5:30).
Hope to see you there...

Thanks for pointing out the VanUE event. Looks like a great one with speakers from Blast Radius, Habanero Consulting and a session on the Mobile Web.

Hey.
Thanks for that. Sounds like a really valuable resource. I'll see if I can make it...
