Shaw internet whoas

Hi Folks,

Just surfin and came upon this site. I was pretty impressed... you seem like a knowledgable group. Certainly when it comes to computers, the internet and things that go beep in the night.

I''d like to pose a question, if I can. I use Shaw as my internet provider and it''s driving me right round the bend. A good amount of my emails are not hitting their mark... nor am I getting all that I should. I would guestimate as much as 20% or more of my emails are lost in cyberspace.

This is particularily difficult for me, because my business relies upon my internet communication. It''s got so bad, that I usually send the same email twice, to double my chances of my emails being received.

It''s also not uncommon for an email I have sent, to be received days and weeks after it was sent. This Spring, a client confirmed that they had received an email I had sent almost a year before. I would not have thought this is possible.

Naturally, I''ve asked Shaw for help. When I do, they ask for my ''headers''. When I send them, their response is always the same. They say... interesting... don''t see anything wrong here... please send more ''headers''. And so it goes. I feel like I''m in an endless loop as far as they are concerned.

Anyone encounter this problem before?

Thanks in advance, to all who may respond.

Cheers,

Marc

Been using Telus for the last 3 years, no problems with sending email, and people receiving it so far.
I'd say switch, if they are unwilling to investigate the headers further that you send them!

Have a good day
