CRM software....ACT! or.. hear of SPAR from GenRe soft?

Hi,

I''m using ACT!2006 right now, but I''m finidng that I don''t want to use it because it takes too much system memory and slows down (apparently this is corrected in ACT!2007, but I dunno).

Someone recently recommended I try SPAR (Sales Prospecting and Referrals program) from GenRe Software (www.genresoft.com). It is from a programmer in North Vancouver.

Does anyone know about this program? Reviews? Should I stick with Act! for prospecting?

See http://www.foresightforit.ca/sharedvue.htm for Salesforce.com. We use it for sales, opportnities and support and wish we had done it earlier.

We are a referral partner (go figure), so using our link for any trial would be awesome, otherwise just go to salesforce.com. It really is solid and for a hosted solution it surpassed our high expectations.

We tested Maximizer, ACT, Goldmine and none of them met the flexibility required for our needs. We did not have the time to properly tweak an internal system and found Salesforce hugely and easily customizable, let alone the amount of different apps available for unique business needs.

Jeesh, now I am a salesman too. :-)
