I am looking for a zip software. I downloaded one last night that doesn''t even work...I hate being so clueless when it comes to these things. FREE would be nice...

no jesting here, I'm that annoyed with having to figure out new things I'd just like somebody to tell me what to do and possibly do it for me

Is that too much to ask?! [:((]

Are you using Windows XP? It should simply appear when you right click on a ZIP file (It will say 'Extract.....')

http://www.winzip.com/ or http://www.winrar.com/ for the most popular ones.

Have a great weekend. If you run into trouble, I'm sure we can send a tech down there for ya

I use 7-Zip. (http://www.7-zip.org/) It is completely free and fairly easy to use.

If I were brilliant enough to create a ZIP tool, I'd name it:

ZIPitGood!
