Hi guys,
I''m putting together a small website for a friend, and we''re currently investigating which hosting company (ISP) to use.
Our site will be running simple HTML and ASP, with the possibility of adding in some Access/SQL Server usage in future. The ISP should be in the Vancouver area, ideally.
We also want to register a domain name, and have e-mail services provided.
Can anyone recommend a company who will do all three for us (hosting, domain reg, e-mail), for a "small business" price?
Pardon my ignorance, I''m pretty new to the scene in Vancouver and need to pick some brains!

Hey.
Doteasy is the company we are using for our company, they are based in Burnaby and provide reliable service. The Ultra hosting package is less than $100 U$, and the basic hosting is free.Check their website www.doteasy.com.

We use NetNation (Hostway) and they do all of those for us.
They have great customer service and they are very reasonably priced.

I would also suggest you click on the Companies button at the top of this screen and narrow the listing down to hosting. You will find a lot of local companies their that provide what you are looking for.

I'd like to offer my ISP for your consideration - if capacity, scale, robustness, speed of deployment and fair pricing are of interest, then please drop me aline at aadams@metrobridge.com..
good luck!

I have 20 years experience in research and development of digital systems. I've designed everything from the KMX-09 operating system and Revenue Canada's eFile system (TAXMASTER) to Comcheq's payroll system (TELPAY).
I'm an advanced and digitall class HAM and was on the internet when only a handful of people knew it existed. I designed by own X25-TNCs.
My wife Lisa, is a commercial artist and is currently acting as the design department for many printers on the North Shore.
Here's where we park our servers =>

If you want to see some of my work, go to Google and type in '

I'm in North Vancouver, and I love a challenge.

If, in the future, you would like your registration information hidden (can be done for .com domains, but not for .ca domains), you should check out godaddy.com. At least that was what I was told the last time I looked into it.
If you want a company specifically in the Vancouver area, try Canada Web Hosting (http://www.canadawebhosting.com/) or Webserve Canada (http://www.webserve.ca/).
