Job Description

The Ad Ops Specialist is responsible for video ad trafficking, revenue growth, and campaign analysis. The candidate will have strong communication skills, a core understanding of online advertising and analytical skills for investigating campaign metrics. The candidate will be responsible for managing all advertiser campaign setup, trafficking and optimization. Day to day tasks include:

  • Manage and check available inventory based on client proposals
  • Log into to various RTB platforms to traffic tags
  • Accurate scheduling and trafficking off the ad serving platform
  • Initiating tactical optimizations (placement evaluation, day-parting, frequency capping, retargeting etc.) to further increase success rate and renew/grow current business
  • Coordinate with sales, business development, and tech departments for set-up and implementation of display, mobile and video ad campaigns.
  • Maximize campaign performance and company revenue by analyzing data (performance and delivery)


  • 2+ years of ad operations, online media, or other advertising experience
  • Exceptional relationship management and communications (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of online ad serving (video ad experience a strong plus)
  • Experience with DoubleClick, 24/7 Real Media, or similar ad serving solution a strong plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapid changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
  • Strong experience working in Excel
  • Basic technical knowledge of websites and basic coding is an asset (HTML, Java script, Flash, CSS)
  • Experience in campaign trafficking within a real-time bidding environment or auction system is a plus
