Our Client is a Calgary-based consumer electronics company in the surround sound audio and video gaming peripherals industry. Our Client is the company behind a revolutionary and award winning gaming headset system.
Our Client is expanding rapidly and needs several positions filled. We need hard-driving team players to join our executive and production teams.
Our Client makes a revolutionary headphone system for delivering surround sound. We are seeking someone to continue this lead in headphone technology.
Skills and education needed:
• Graduate degree in mechanical engineering, audio and acoustics
• Expertise to design and analyze headphones for audio fidelity and directionality (psychoacoustics); this includes speaker selection and design, acoustic structures, chambers and waveguides; stress, flexing and durability; materials selection, plastics and injection tooling, testing techniques
• Proficient in CAD, FEA, and other techniques.
• Avid gamer and audiophile.
Compensation: Salary, options
Experience: 3-6 yrs
Attitude: Positive, contributor, collaborative, proactive
Education: Graduate engineering degree.
Desired Experience: Audio and acoustics design
Professional Skills: A highly organized self-starter with excellent communication skills
