We’re a hardware-software company building exciting technologies that will shape the future of human-computer interaction. We were named the most innovative startup from this year’s Y-Combinator class by Business Insider, presold over 10,000 MYOs within 48 hours, and secured $14.5 million in Series A funding led by Spark Capital and Intel Capital. We pride ourselves on the culture we’ve cultivated – if you love to work hard and play hard, you’ll fit right in!
You love back-end web development and you’re eager to tackle challenging problems on tight deadlines. Whether you’re building web services or using web technologies for something completely new, you’re right at home and you always pay attention to detail. No project is too big or too small for you to handle. In your downtime you want to play with cool toys like MYO, Google Glass, 3D printers and the Oculus Rift and use them to inspire your work. You’re comfortable with the web frameworks of the day and have experience with server administration, big data and general hacking awesomeness. You’re up for an adventure and being part of a company that’s got big ideas and is growing insanely quickly.
What you’re good at:
• Web Development is second nature. You’ve got 4+ years of experience building, testing, deploying front ends, back ends, and databases; the whole nine yards as they say. You’re a badass full-stack developer who can handle any part of the problem, any day.
• You have a great relationship with the penguins, windows, and apples, and you know how to bend them to your will. Whether it’s in a server environment or just scripting around town, they know who’s in control.
• You’re up to the challenge; any challenge. Whether it’s creating the next-generation web experience or designing services to gather data from millions of remote devices, you’re able to crack problems like no other.
