Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The desired candidate will gather reports and data mart requirements, assist with ETL processes, develop and deliver data models, reports and reporting / analysis applications. Moreover, he /she will have strong analytical skills, and will be able to learn new technical skills and concepts in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Required qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of data warehouse and data modeling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a preference for computer science or MIS majors.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of data modeling, including relational and star schema design
principles, and the ability to design data marts.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Minimum 1 year experience delivering solutions with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS),
multi-dimensional databases & OLAP cubes.
• Strong experience utilizing data warehouse reporting tools such as: MS SQL Reporting, Excel 2007,
Performance Point 2007.
• Experience should also include delivering OLAP data to end users (e.g. Excel, ProClarity, Panorama,
Microsoft Business Scorecard Manager and knowledge of MDX).
• Experience with Reporting Services and Business Scorecard Manager.
• PerformancePoint Server experience considered an asset.
• Strong SQL knowledge and/or experience using MS- SQL Query Analyzer.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and of SharePoint.
• MS SQL 2005 database experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
