We are looking for a marketer and community manager to help us continue our explosive growth path as one of Canada’s hottest startups and a global leader in crowdfunding. You will have proven Internet marketing skills and the public relations acumen to get coverage in traditional and social media. You follow Mashable and TechCrunch, have social network savvy, strong relationship skills and the initiative to thrive in a start-up environment.
If you have a 2-4 years experience in achieving results with Internet Marketing and/or public relations then you could be a great fit for this position. Your left and right brains are in sync so you are comfortable with creative and metrics. Writing ability, graphic design or other creative skills are desirable and business development, sales, software or digital media experience definite assets.

The role will include:
1) Acquisition activities such as search engine marketing, events, public relations and social network community management;
2) Activation activities such as content development, key account management, email marketing, coaching, webinars and online events and hands-on setup and promotion of custom features;
3) Conversion activities such as campaign and page testing and optimization. This role will work closely with the marketing, operations and development teams plus manage external vendors as required to fulfill the above role.
Please highlight experience with marketing, design or video software applications like HTML, CSS, Photoshop, iMovie, Camtasia, Mailchimp, YouTube, Facebook, Adwords, Twitter, Google +, Google apps or others, if applicable.
Language ability in French, German, Spanish, Italian - even British or Australian -is an asset but not required.
