Located at Hootsuite’s HQ and supporting the Talent Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all things compensation & benefits related to ensure that the global employee experience is aligned with our culture and organizational objectives.

In addition to overseeing our global total rewards strategy, you will also work with the talent team to tackle the big challenges and projects that come up in scaling a hyper growth environment. With employees in 10 countries and growing, you will also ensure we are building a competitive total rewards strategy on a global scale.   • Support global Talent department leadership in building our global total rewards strategy and operations
  • Review and analyze our compensation and benefits programs with the goal of continuous improvement in terms of design, administrative efficiency and costs optimization
  • Oversee all reporting and analysis of benefit plan costs (actual spend vs. plan); provide monthly updates highlighting trends and issues in our current landscape and those we compete with
  • Manage education and communication to leadership team and employees on compensation, benefits and insurance program inquiries
  • Lead the delivery of timely and accurate compensation support and reporting to the Talent team
  • Coordinate and support ongoing compensation administration including review, analysis and recommendations
  • Participate and coordinate annual and ad hoc external compensation and benefit surveys; provide thorough analysis of results, prepare recommendations and action plans to address identified external market trends and competitive issues
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to Talent team, new hires, and current employees with the goal of improving understanding and enhancing engagement with the programs
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with finance team, brokers, insurers, consultants and other partners
  • esolve issues with claims and coverage with employees and administers all applications and maintenance
  • Remain up to date on the latest trends, external market data, and best practices in the technology industry

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, bonus if working towards or has CCP/ CEBS designation
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience full cycle ownership of - Compensation & Benefits in a globally matrixed organization
  • Previous experience building, implementing, and maintaining a compensation strategy within a large organization
  • Proficient in compensation and benefits market research analysis and trends
  • Strong background in salary administration and job evaluation
  • Confidence with dynamics of hyper growth tech environment
  • Ninja skills in Excel and other number crunchers
