Corporate Account Executive, APAC

HootSuite is searching for an exceptional individual to join our new APAC office. You are a senior Sales Professional who understands complex selling, has closed seven figure deals, has outstanding communication skills, is entrepreneurial and passionate, and a positive team-focused attitude. You flourish in a dynamic and lightning speed environment. And, you love social media!

Responsibilities:

• Selling our solutions into to global corporations and C level executives and then managing and growing those strategic customer relationships. This is a senior level, direct selling position.
• Sourcing and approaching new leads for our Enterprise product offering (see: www.hootsuite.com/enterprise)
• Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates prospect and customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
• Maintain sales pipeline and forecasting strategic account revenue
• Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
• Managing a defined set of accounts + demonstrating HootSuite capabilities to potential clients
• Following up on inbound leads in a timely manner
• Prioritizing Accounts and developing overall territory and account plans
• Attainment of sales quota

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years experience in field or inside sales, lead generation, and client management
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a closely knit team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passionate about Twitter, Facebook and other social web apps
• Interest or experience in a tech start-up
• Ability to adapt to change and flourish in a dynamic environment
• A positive attitude + ability to excel under pressure
• An unmatched desire to learn
• Know what a sales funnel is and how to get to “yes”

Bonus Assets:

• Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• Experience as a buyer, or selling into Fortune 1000 brands
• Experience in software or SaaS sales
• Agency environment or sales to agency experience
• Salesforce.com experience
• Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
• Passionate about Twitter, Facebook and other social web apps
• Interest or experience in a high growth, early stage tech company
• A positive attitude + ability to excel under pressure
• Some travel at times
• Fluent in English, bonus for fluency in other Asian languages (Japanese, Mandarin, Bahasa)
