Data Warehouse Manager - Burnaby/Metrotown

Do you have strong experience managing data warehouses, scheduling ETL processes, and supporting financial reporting toolsets?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a house-hold name Public organization performing complex and challenging tasks in a Data Warehouse environment. With your strong commercial experience managing Data Warehouses, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, security and delivery of data warehouse and operational data store solutions as well as the design, development and scheduling of ETL processes.

Additionally, this challenging role will also require you to:

  • Provide 2nd-level technical support in managing and enhancing existing data warehouse and operational data stores
  • Trouble-shoot and correct issues with existing applications

Manage scheduled ETL processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

  • Minimum 4 years experience of full lifecycle data warehouse development projects
  • Recognized degree/diploma in IT
  • Experience with financial reporting, data management toolsets such as iWay
  • Experience with BI toolsets such as WebFOCUS and ERP’s such as JDE EnterpriseOne
    You will use your solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact with project managers, business analysts and technical resources such as application development team members and users.
