Do you have solid DBA experience with DB2 databases on the Z/OS platforms?

We are on the lookout for an accomplished Database Administrator to assist one of our NFP clients based in Richmond (close to the airport). You will use your 5+ years commercial experience in DB2 administration to play a key role in the designing and implementation of database structures and components. Your role will be varied encompassing assisting development teams from table design through SQL language scripting, database replication and supporting database environments in test and production.

From a technical point of view you will have:

  • 5 + years DBA work experience on the Z/OS platform using DB2
  • Experience working with DB2 V8
  • Experience with IBM Datapropagator replication
  • Demonstrated SQL Language tuning experience
  • Experience transforming business data models into implementable, tunable, supportable physical structures that satisfy business requirements.
