WPCG is currently seeking Desktop Technicians for one of our Lower Mainland clients.
Job Description:
As Desktop Technician you will be responsible for verifying network connectivity as well as installing and testing servers. You will track inventory and document hardware movements. As the successful candidate you will take ownership of problems until they are resolved or properly escalate to a higher level of support.
Requirements:
• Excellent technical problem resolution skills and the ability to go above and beyond with customer service when working with users
• Minimum three years experience installing and supporting Intel hardware in a Windows environment
• Understanding of Windows Active Directory, Wide Area Networking technologies, TCP/IP routing protocols
• Basic Windows Administration and user support experience
• A+ Certification (desired)
• MCP or MCSE Certification (desired)
• Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms independently, and 40+ kilograms with assistance
