We are looking for an energetic Developer Relations Manager to generate new business opportunities across various industries and to establish trusting relationships with content developers. You will take ownership of developing and identifying strategic growth opportunities to drive activity and achieve Sulon’s business objectives. Your expertise in relationship building and proven talent for creating strong partnerships will be leveraged to unleash the potential of The Cortex. This role will be integral to the growth and success of the company, giving you a chance to make your mark in the futuristic field of AVR technology.


Key responsibilities/accountabilities consists of (but are not limited to):

  • Leading the growth of Sulon by identifying key strategic business opportunities to convert into revenue.
  • Developing strategic partnerships with multiple industry leaders to expand the applicability of The Cortex.
  • Creating and delivering persuasive pitches and ideas to convince content developers and other organizations, associations or agencies of the benefits of forming an alliance with Sulon.
  • Establishing the groundwork to expand the brand internationally and leading the business development activities in multiple geographies.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and business proposals to secure partnerships.
  • Identifying internal and external resources to contribute to Sulon’s business development strategies.
  • Working closely with the Product Development team and CEO to create product oriented marketing collateral to promote The Cortex.
  • Investigating, researching, and understanding user problems and interacting with the respondent and internal engineer team as needed.
  • Attending conferences, trade shows and strategic events to expand the Sulon brand.
  • Identifying and staying on top of the competitive landscape, consumer trends and market challenges to ensure Sulon is always a step ahead.
  • Performing other duties as required.


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Hardware and Software), Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional and proven experience in business development/developer relations role in the consumer electronics industry, preferably with exposure to the gaming sector.
  • Strong technical acumen and in-depth understanding of technology, consumer products, hardware, software, and gaming.
  • Proven experience in successfully launching product and platforms to clients.
  • Possess a solid professional network that will leverage business opportunities for Sulon.
  • Proficient in developing and executing companywide business development and sales strategies.
  • Preparing, coordinating and executing sales campaigns and messaging in partnerships with external resources (e.g. PR firms, MarCom, etc.).


  • MBA with a specialization in marketing.
  • Experience marketing cutting-edge consumer products.
  • Strong interest in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
  • True team player with strong interpersonal skills and commitment to the team’s success.
  • Creative problem solver with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • You thrive in a Leadership based, fast-paced, results-oriented, Start-Up environment.
