Director of Global Sales, HootSuite Analytics

This is an opportunity to lead and grow a key revenue driving business unit within a dynamic, well-funded, startup. HootSuite’s product is used by over 70% of Fortune 100 companies and is on a high growth trajectory. We are building an exceptional, San Francisco based, Analytics sales team from the ground up and are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for social. You will be responsible for implementing direct sales strategies, managing a metrics-focused sales methodology & leading a world-class global team to deliver revenue against plan.

Responsibilities:
Build a global team that overachieves its sales goals
Implement & manage a metrics driven sales methodology
Recruit, mentor & inspire a high performance sales team
Employee-centric training, coaching and performance assessment
Tactical day-to-day leadership of our newest nest in San Francisco
Build a sales environment focused on establishing long-term client-centered relationships
Drive and support attainment of individual and team sales quotas
Act as executive sponsor on large sales opportunities
Establish relationships with Influencers & Solution Providers
Drive and build culture - We are dogged, entrepreneurial, and team-focused. We are adventurous, positive, passionate, and love to have fun!

Required Skills & Experience:
Competencies generally associated with a B.S. Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience
5+ years complex technology sales experience
2+ years sales experience in a leadership or management capacity
SaaS Analytics &/or Social Media software selling experience (preferred)
A passion for Social Media and it’s impact on business communications #lovesocial
Ability to mentor team members through the sales cycle
Ability to successfully influence direct reports, peers and senior leadership
Proven team building skills including training, coaching, assessment
Track record of consistent quota attainment
Possess a process oriented approach to sales
Strong Forecasting skills
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, environment
Entrepreneurial, creative, big thinker who can embrace change
Strong business acumen, executive presence, ethics and high integrity
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative and team spirited; respectful of and values others' contributions
