Zillow.com is looking for an enthusiastic project manager who can make our email program a leader in the industry. This position is a 4 month contract role.
Some of the specific responsibilities include:
• Project mange new campaign and operational emails from inception through design/content, testing, sending, and tracking.
• Manage new and updated email programs internally, acting as point person on all legal and best practice needs for the company.
• Produce email templates via internal and external tool systems – some html work, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Manage customer list segmentation and A/B testing.
• Manage gathering of data with internal developers and 3rd party to be used on a per campaign basis.
• Manage third party vendor to ensure seamless creation, sending, and reporting of email.
• Report email metrics for all campaign and operational emails, and optimize campaigns and sending practices based on learned information.
• Work closely with the product planning, web creative and customer analytics groups to develop the email promotional calendar.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-functional teams and delivering results. In addition, the person should have:
• 3+ years project management experience, strong organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to take a high level idea, execute on it and drive measurable results
• Experience running or working with email or testing programs a strong plus
• Experience working with an ESP ideal but not required
• HTML and production skills desirable
• Functional understanding of Web technology
• BS or BA in relevant field
• Fluent with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills
