GigPark Community Coordinator

Who are we?
GigPark (www.gigpark.com) is about sharing recommendations about your favourite local businesses with friends and the GigPark community. We work closely with (and have strong affection for) our parent company, Canpages, which is the fastest growing local search and directories publisher in Canada.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who can be our voice in the GigPark and on the web. This means lots of interaction with users as well as some blogging, tweeting, commenting, etc.
  • Someone who can manage the day-to-day tasks for our promotions and partnerships.
  • Someone who can use what they see and learn to contribute to our product development.

Who are you?

  • You have a passion for the web and are active in social media - maybe you have a blog and/or you tweet regularly and/or you are active on Facebook, Fllickr, YouTube and GigPark, of course.
  • You have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You can work independently.
  • Most importantly, you are friendly and fun!
    What will you get out of it?

  • A deep understanding of what drives online consumer behaviour

    Please note that this is a 4-month full time contract, ending April 30, 2010.
