Internet Customer Retention / Internal Marketing Manager

Zefr Media is a rapidly growing entertainment firm in Yaletown with 10 years of history in the gaming software industry. We are looking for a Customer Retention / Internal Marketing Manager for one of our large sports-related clients. This role will focus on members of the client's website ensuring that they remain loyal and active by conducting various cyclical and one-off marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an expert in web marketing metrics and have proven experience in developing relationships with various segments of a member database.

What the role will entail:

• Being directly responsible for retaining and maximizing value from an existing membership database
• Developing annual marketing programs and accompanying budgets
• Executing short and long-term retention-based marketing programs
• Analyzing campaign results & metrics and making decisions based on them
• Writing appealing web copy
• Communicating with the database via mailers and customized messaging
• Working with the design department to create rich and attractive promotions and offers
• Liaising with customer service representatives to ensure communication with members is executed efficiently and as various promotion dictate
• Reporting to the Operations Manager weekly and monthly to highlight growth and areas in need of growth
• Managing external content developers who will provide specialized creatives and copy writing
• Working with the technical department to develop new tools with which to increase efficiency in membership retention
• Implementing regular website updates
