Peoplesoft HCM Systems Analyst

WPCG is currently seeking a Peoplesoft HCM Systems Analyst for one of our Lower Mainland clients.

Job Description:
As the People Soft HCM Systems Analyst you will liaison with both the Human Resources and Technical Development teams. By understanding current and future business needs of the global business units, you will plan, design, and configure cost effective technical solutions with the Peoplesoft Development team. You will help manage the development and maintenance of respective application strategic roadmaps, tactical plans and business cases with a focus on the continuous improvement of application functionality and usage.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Business and or Technical Analyst position in a Peoplesoft environment.
• Experienced in the collection and documentation of business requirements and the translation of requirements to technical specifications.
• 3 - 5 yrs of functional experience using PeopleSoft Human Resources & Payroll Interface version 8.x experience.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server); strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL languages and Data Modelling techniques.
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems; UNIX and Windows NT/XP.
• Skills include SQL/SQR, nVision, Crystal, Applications Designer, People-Code, PS component interface, application engine and PeopleSoft Integration tools.
• Solid understanding of database connectivity such as SQLnet, JDBC and ODBC, including entity relationship.
• Familiar with security audits and assessments, vulnerability management and intrusion detection concepts.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in computer science.
