Manager, Information Systems
Century Group is looking for a creative, collaborative, hands-on professional who is able to distill key issues from the complexity and recommend practical solutions to enhance the contributions and efficiency of our internal and external partners using current core systems and applications as well as guide and implement future system investments.
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Manager, Information Systems is expected to take overall responsibility for all aspects of information services including hardware, software, troubleshooting, helpdesk, web development support, security and documentation, replacement planning, policy and quality standards. You will coordinate IS service for our growing – currently 100 workstation, 400+ employees - multi-site platform. As well, you will lead the Information Services Steering Committee, manage IS project budgets, provide contract oversight and operationalize business strategies and recommendations focused on core systems and practical solutions.
Experience and Personal Attributes
Century Group has a relatively flat organizational structure that seeks to maximize the level of engagement of its team members by granting significant autonomy, taking into account the nature of the position and the individual involved.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma focused on business and computer science, and 5 to 7 years progressive experience including managing projects of various sizes and complexity. You have demonstrated continuous learning and possess working knowledge of information systems including, computer architecture, design and maintenance, Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Exchange and Office, telephony, mobile devices, and knowledge of new and emerging technologies including records management.
You are focused on providing practical and cost effective solutions; have well developed leadership and communication skills, and demonstrate ability to establish rapport while managing day-today demands and projects and report progress.

We are looking for a partner that most closely demonstrates the breadth of experience and attributes noted. Our multi-sector position will provide plenty of variety and challenge. We will also consider candidates with potential for growth, wherein the scope of responsibility, authority, salary and participation in the benefits would be adjusted to reflect the skill and experience of the individual. Predominantly focused in South Delta responsibilities may occasionally take you to Langley and Surrey.
