Ensure the success of Hootsuite’s lead generation and marketing programs through managing closed loop campaigns, marketing program development, funnel optimization and business analysis/reporting for a diverse set of internal and external programs.This role reports to the Director of Demand Generation.


As a member of the Marketing Automation team, you will share responsibility for all enterprise and partner marketing automation programs that drive user growth and revenue through increasing qualified leads, improving lead quality, increasing lead-to-sales efficiency and effectiveness, and aligning direct marketing and inbound/outbound sales strategies.  The ideal candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment as a strategic partner and service provider to the Customer Marketing, Enterprise Sales and Lead Development teams.


Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant marketing automation and technology experience

  • Experience with creation of Marketo assets, programs and automations

  • Deep understanding of lead scoring, multi-touch drip nurture and broadcast emails, segmentation, workflows, and ROI reporting

  • Proven success in email marketing, list acquisition/rental and direct marketing programs

  • Strong strategic planning, writing, presentation and communication skills

  • Deep understanding of online user behavior

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Management Information Systems, or exceptional industry experience is required

  • Build out, manage and optimize end-to-end enterprise lead generation programs

  • Implement marketing technologies to support programs

  • Implement email campaigns and event-based nurturing programs

  • Understand and communicate effectively across all stages of prospect development, from cold leads to engagement to closed opportunities to expansion of opportunities

  • Execute campaign activity plans including segmentation, list building, email management, maintaining data integrity and reporting

  • Effectively segment and manage contact and email database(s)

  • Manage a portfolio of content and programs for re-use, recycle and optimization

  • Deliver appropriate reporting to internal stakeholders and identify areas and tactics for improvement
