Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
• Creating and managing direct mail, email and telemarketing campaigns
• Managing 3rd party online lead generation programs and content
• Report on campaign and lead generation metrics
• Updating website content, demos and product collateral as required
• Managing webinars and podcasts
• Managing search engine optimization and search engine marketing program
• Coordinating marketing programs and content with channel and strategic alliance partners
• Coordinating trade shows and events as required
Requirements:
All candidates will have a degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or other related field, plus at least 2-4 years experience in marketing and communications and will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Proactive, independent thinker that is results oriented
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to write compelling, targeted copy for B to B campaigns, web content and various communications
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Proven skills in project management
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Dreamweaver.
• Experience in software marketing is an asset
• Working knowledge of Camtasia, Webex or similar software is an asset
• Working knowledge of CRM software is an asset
