Microsoft Systems Administrator

Do you have strong experience administrating critical corporate systems in a Windows/Citrix environment?

We have a position based in Burnaby that requires a Microsoft ‘specialist’ to join a high performance team to support the day-to-day operations of a major corporate multi domain environment. The role encompasses incident and problem management, capacity planning, security, patching, and ensuring maximum system availability and performance.

The system is a large-scale multi-domain WINTEL server environment and so commercial experience administrating in this type of environment is crucial to be considered for this role. Additionally, you will also have good ‘hands on’ experience with the following:

  • MS Domain Servers including Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, WINS etc
  • Administration of Citrix Presentation Server Farms
  • Experience administrating VMWare virtual infrastructure (Virtual Centre/ESX Server)
  • Exchange 2003 or 2007
  • Storage technologies on NAS and SAN
  • Windows 2000/2003 servers
