River Styx, is a leading developer of Internet marketing and e-Commerce software, is currently looking for a Perl Software Developer. We are a small privately held firm composed mostly of highly skilled (but casually dressed!) web programmers who create customized software solutions for some of the Internet's largest traffic sites.

What you will be doing
As our Perl Software Developer you would assist with writing customized server-side software for our existing clients. Your responsibilities would include:
• Design, develop, and test object oriented web applications
• Maintenance of existing code base
• Installation of web applications on customer hardware
• Review customer business requirements and develop prototypes
• Design components within a global web-based application using object-oriented methodology
• Create technical documentation
What we are looking for
If you’re looking to get into a thriving business and you like a fast-paced setting, this may be the place for you. We’re looking for a motivated individual who is driven to succeed. Here are a few things we’re seeking in the ideal candidate:
• Minimum 2 years experience with Perl
• Experience focus on Object Oriented Perl
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS.
• Ability and willingness to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Banking/Credit Card industry and/or experience with "PCI Compliance"
