POSITION SUMMARY
Global BlackBerry Network Operations Programs take proactive steps to plan, communicate and initiate related projects within strategic and complex departmental deliverables, by working with multiple project teams, functional areas, and management of all levels.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager and project managers, providing program support but not limited to, program planning, meeting and schedule support, creation of presentations, web documentation, process & template development, program budgets and reports. The Project Coordinator will work as part of a virtual global program team promoting and maintaining Program and Project Standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tracking actions and capturing progress within program and associated projects, for inclusion within program documentation. Assisting the Program Manager in program planning and organizing of multiple projects. Assisting the Program Manager in the generation of program process and templates. Assist promoting and maintaining Program and Project Standards, web portals and managing smaller projects / complex tasks, if required.
Note: In addition to these duties and responsibilities employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Project or Program Co-ordination experience
• Past experience in IT environment and good technical background advantageous
• Trained in Knowledge of PMBOK, PMI or PRINCE2 best practices is an asset
• Flexible working hours, and ability to work across multiple time zones
• Strong time management skills, and ability to work on own initiative
• Good written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational capabilities
• Experienced in: Microsoft Project, NetMeeting, Teleconferencing, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio
