Project Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Project Co-coordinator, the successful candidate's role will be to assist the Program Office with project and program scheduling (using enterprise project management software), meeting facilitation and coordination and project documentation. The incumbent will also be required to help build and maintain a project management library and documentation repository to ensure that standard Project Management tools and templates are standardized and utilized.

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Tracking actions and capturing progress within projects, for inclusion within project documentation
  • Generating project status and summary reports
  • Generating project documentation and templates
  • Assisting with the planning and organizing of multiple technical and non-technical IT projects
  • Assisting with promoting and maintaining Project Standards
  • Managing smaller projects/complex tasks, if required
  • Assisting with achieving overall department and business goals

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have experience with HTML, Dreameaver or other web tools
  • CAPM Preferred
  • 2-3 years Project Administration experience or similar, plus knowledge of Microsoft Project, or other Project Management Software Tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with technical documentation
  • Experience with Business Process definition
  • Strong organizational capabilities
