Duties & Responsibilities:
Will perform appropriate QA testing to assigned software, document the results, and confers with the software development team on resolving issues and questions that may arise through testing. Reports bugs discovered while testing. Will participate on company projects and complete all QA tasks. Automates and enters into Test Director at least 30% of new test cases to be shared with the department. Develops and implements changes to current QA process. Modifies, maintains and creates regression tests. Adds functionality to current regression tests by adding submissions, client's parameters or modifying the programs that are executed. Creates automated regression tests for areas that are new or exist but do not have an automated regression test.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a data warehouse environment or have worked on a project migrating large amounts of data.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
At least 3 years software quality assurance experience.
Must have database (backend) testing experience (Oracle is highly preferred).
TestDirector experience is required.
Preference will be given to those who have Agile experience.
(Waterfall will be a plus).
SQL or PL/SQL experience is desired along with UNIX and shell scripting skills.
Must be a self starter who works with little direction at times.
Solid verbal and written communication skills are required.
