We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to assist with the ongoing testing of our suite of e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate is highly-motivated and passionate, and is looking for a challenge in a growing company. We value creativity and innovation, and willingness to step up to the plate. An ability to work in a team environment is critical. You must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently with a "can-do" attitude!
Principal Accountabilities:
• Create test plans and test cases for new functionality
• Execute test cases on a variety of supported platforms
• Report bug details to bug tracking system.
• Prepare test status reports
• Setup and maintain test environment
• Work closely with developers on test strategy and ensuring that defects are correctly identified and fixed
• Develop and maintain automate test scripts
• Influence product requirements and release timelines as needed to ensure quality
Required Qualifications:
• 3 – 5 years experience in a QA environment combined with excellent knowledge of leading QA tools and methodologies
• Experience with
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of web application and applicable testing techniques
• Computer science degree or equivalent
Required Technical Skills;
• Knowledge of one of popular Java application servers (Tomcat, Web Logic, Web Sphere)
