QA Architect
RESPONSBILIITES:
Prepare a detailed capability matrix to map capabilities to the test plan, and independently design and document detailed performance test cases to cover all levels of operational testing, including: performance, and scalability under load/stress.
Independently design and document detailed performance test cases to cover all levels of operational testing, including: performance, and scalability under load/stress.
Verify complex systems at the component level, ensuring strategic technology choices and the quality of the technical designs and implementation inside and between components is adhered to and functions appropriately.
Work with the QA Manager to develop and maintain processes and practices, and to ensure these are followed.
Interact with software developers and the systems team to tune code and track all problem reports to closure.
Effectively employ automation to reduce testing cycles on repeated tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or appropriate technical degree.
5 – 8 years of software product development, systems and quality assurance responsibilities.
2 – 3 years of software architecture responsibilities.
Experienced with web technologies including Linux, PHP, C/C++, Java, Flash, and automated testing tools such as NeoLoad, Loadrunner and Jmeter.
Familiar with version control/configuration management systems and defect tracking software.
