Quality Assurance (QA) Lead

On behalf of our client in the online media sector, TRS Contract Consulting Group is currently searching for a self-starting, team-orientated Quality Assurance (QA) Lead for a full-time position inVancouver, BC.

Leading a team of up to five people, the QA Lead helps develops, execute and automate tests and then tracks results through a variety of websites.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assignment and estimation of tasks
  • Carry out performance reviews and aid in the development of team members
  • Analyzing and documenting gaps in website functionality
  • Utilizing test software programs as needed and collecting functionality metrics

    Your qualifications include:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Sciences/IT or a related field is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and management skills

    Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1 year QA Lead experience
  • 5 years QA experience
  • Understanding of test automation and performance tests
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL and ODD will be considered an asset
