What we’re looking for:

We are seeking an experienced, highly energetic Sales Engineer who is organized and excited to join a hard working team during an exciting growth phase. The individual we want is a self-starter, and eager to apply their skills to help Jibestream achieve it’s aggressive goals. This role is an integral part of the Jibestream Sales Team and provides essential support to complete the overall sales function.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Engineer will work with Outside Account Executives in proactively growing the Jibestream footprint within Corporate Campuses, Shopping Malls and Hospitals in North America.

So how do you know that’s you? You’ll have:

  • Excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
  • Developed presentations skills at both the technical and business level.
  • Experience presenting to C level.
  • 1-2 years experience working with Sales.
  • 1-2 years experience as a developer/business analyst/QA.
  • Technology based University degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the USA required.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform remote & live product presentations.
  • Qualify opportunities by assisting Sales to ensure a technical fit exists or can be created.
  • Position the Jibestream value proposition to a business audience.
  • Position Jibestream architecture and inner workings to a technical audience.
  • Work as a technical liaison for the prospect during the pre-sales process.
  • Participate in the creation of technical proposals and Statements of Work.
  • Coordinate work with other Jibestream departments to ensure technical alignment.
  • Support Outside Sales Executives to drive sales through collaboration on account analysis, planning and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain proactive and supportive relationships with colleagues, channel partners and clients.

What’s the downside?

We are pretty self-aware as a company and know the points where we can do better…here they are:

Office Space: We are not your post and beam style office…we don’t even have a Ping-Pong table! The space is a bit dated and could use some improvements. We have a committee working on it and although it may not ever be Liberty village style, we think it will be pretty good. We do take our coffee and team parties pretty seriously so at least we have those parts right.

Location: We are located at Downsview Subway station at Allen Road and Sheppard, making us equally inconvenient for everyone! Good news is that we are on the subway, close to the 407 and 401. Even better news is that we are moving! To a hipper and more central space.

Process: The company is growing really fast in all aspects, which is great. The hard part is that we don’t have all the processes of a big company in place yet. We are counting on our people to help create that process and adjust quickly as we grow.
