The Role

Payfirma is an award winning payments startup based in Vancouver, BC. We develop amazing payment technology that enables businesses to accept debit and credit cards in their stores, online, or on their mobile devices.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for everything that is Salesforce at Payfirma. The administrator will configure and maintain Salesforce to ensure delivery of high quality solutions to meet business needs of Payfirma. This position is responsible for the overall configuration and operation of the existing implementation, as well as the continuous improvement of the Salesforce tools for all users. This is the first Salesforce Administrator role at Payfirma, therefore it is a great opportunity to take a leadership role and grow a team with a fast growing company./p

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement Salesforce solutions that help drive more productively within the business
  • Work with each business unit to ensure Salesforce is meeting their business needs
  • Work with each business unit on ways to improve performance through Salesforce optimization
  • Perform regular monitoring, updates and maintenance within Salesforce to ensure uptime is met
  • Create and maintain documentation on Salesforce environment including all new development
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support of Salesforce including training, maintaining users, troubleshooting, and configuration
  • Ensure all Salesforce projects achieve time, quality, and cost targets
  • Plan, execute and test all changes within sandboxes, when available, ensuring there is zero negative impact to business due to changes

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Salesforce administrator configuring applications in sales and/or service clouds
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification and nice to have Salesforce Developer Certification
  • Proficiency with data manipulation and complex custom reports
  • Implementation experience with Apex Language, Classes, Controllers & Triggers, Visual Force, Custom objects, Workflows and validation rules
  • A solid mix of business and technical mindset
  • A desire to lead
  • Bachelors Degree
