Overview
TP Systems’ IT staffing division brings experienced IT professionals together with BC based hiring organizations on a full-time and contract basis. One of our well established clients is currently seeking a Security Architect to work out of Victoria, BC.
Responsibilities:
The chosen Security Architect will be responsible for the development of project documents describing detailed design and technical requirements for the implementation of new security components for a variety of applications. In addition, they will be responsible for gathering and summarizing existing information from our existing architectural team for the development of these new security solutions.
Skills and Experience:
• 5-10 years experience as a Security Architect or Security Engineer
• Strong Technical writing skills
• Strong Requirements Gathering
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Security Standards and Frameworks (ISP, ISO, COBIT, ESPS)
• Good/Excellent knowledge of security components (authentication, audit logging, firewalls, access control)
• Good/Excellent knowledge of Windows, Linux, Oracle and security related applications or modules for those systems
Desired Skills
• Experience working in a government environment
• Previous experience working with third party vendors and have experience working with business partners in an outsourced model
