The Job

Senior Android Developers at 500px create native applications to showcase the world's best photographs.

Role responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and build 500px mobile products
  • Work closely with designers and engineers to implement new features that use the latest technologies for Android
  • Discover and implement innovative ways to increase and maintain speed and quality of Android app

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Expert knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
  • Knowledge of other Mobile SDKs, Ruby and/or Javascript is a plus
  • Previously published mobile applications (please provide links)
  • Contribution to open source projects (please provide links)
  • A love of photography

Our interview process is straight forward:

  • phone interview where you will be asked to write simple programs using
  • in-person interview at our office where you will have a chance to present stuff you worked on in the past and show your awesome programming skills
