Hushmail started as the first company to provide encryption and security features in a web-based email. We are a profitable, privately held business in Vancouver, British Columbia.
We are a small company with a focused and disciplined culture. We work regular hours and avoid crunch times, allowing plenty of time for family and friends. We value solid engineering over rushed work. Dress is casual, benefits are good, and there are no office politics. There is a great deal of opportunity to make a difference here, and we seek people who are highly capable and eager to take on greater responsibility and be well rewarded for it.
Our software development process avoids bugs by relying on a disciplined and consistent (but still highly agile) approach to engineering first, automated testing second, and human testing last, with the goal to minimize reliance on the last.
