Our client requires a consultant to work as a Senior Application Developer and Team to mentor in house programmers, ensuring Oracle best development practices for JDeveloper 11g ADF toolset in a browser based environment. Provide documentation for in house developers to ensure best practices are maintained. Assist in house development team in the modification of Oracle eBiz custom solutions as well as other application development requirements.
PREQUISITE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
•Strong training/mentoring skills.
• Experience in Interface/Integration development with a packaged software using Scripts, File transfer, Database Links, Web services, and XML messaging
•Demonstrated knowledge of system analysis skills
•Experience in writing impact analysis and system design documents for programmers.
•Experience in leading a team of developers and analysts and the ability to work in a team
•Excellent communication skills both oral and written
•Experience with the following areas: Web development; HP/Unix and MS LAN environments: Oracle DB and SQL code, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle ADF Framework, Oracle Forms, XML, C#, Delphi v7.0, PL/SQL & SQL Plus Programming
•Working knowledge of Services Oriented Architecture and Web Services.
•Demonstrates knowledge of and recognizes the benefits of adherence to systems lifecycle methodologies
•Strong Working Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite modules: Financials and Supply Chain, and Reporting tools: Discoverer, Report 6i, Crystal Reporting
•Knowledge of Oracle Concurrent Manager scheduler
•Working knowledge of MS-Project, MS-Office and Visio
Preferred start date: November 12, 2008
6-7 month contract with possible extension
