You have extensive knowledge and understanding of project management principles, methodologies, tools and techniques. You are a conceptual and analytical thinker who is able to conduct effective, thorough reviews of customer project requirements and deliverables, develop innovative solutions and manage projects and team resources of significant size and complexity through to successful completion. You are able to effectively use tools and other resources to manage issues, risks, assumptions and decisions. You communicate effectively and strategically both orally and in writing with clients, technical teams and other co-workers, work to schedules, and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Participate in the development and direct the implementation of project management policies, procedures and quality standards, monitoring systems and best practices to track issues and compliance and improve project success rates.
• Plan and manage project activities for a portfolio of complex projects or for a major project, involving multiple departments and disciplines and utilizing project management principles, methodologies, tools and techniques.

Arrange the distribution of work packages within the company and/or to external contractors, and provide instructions, advice and direction to project team members.
• Facilitate and ensure individual and team roles and responsibilities are understood and that performance measures are identified, measured and monitored on an on-going basis in order to provide positive feedback on accomplishments and to ensure immediate action is taken to address shortfalls
• Work closely with the client and other stakeholders to communicate project plans and project status, obtain or provide program, technical and progress data, and resolve planning and implementation issues.
• Manage project scope, timeline and budget within agreed tolerances throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensure optimum use of resources, adjust project plan in consultation with all stakeholders as required in order to meet objectives, and manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost as necessary
• Ensure project deliverables meet stated requirements, are delivered to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
• Interface with internal departments involved in marketing, developing, manufacturing and after sales service of the product; ensure project transition and handover activities upon project completion are planned and implemented as agreed, and in consultation with client and production support and other relevant stakeholders
• Close out the project and capture essential lessons learned to ensure future projects are successful
• Ensure a positive work environment and awareness by all staff of company goals and objectives and create an environment oriented towards trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort.
• Mentor, support and develop the project management skills of more junior Project Managers.
• May fulfill the role of full time Team Lead over a group of Project Managers by assigning and monitoring work, ensuring adherence to corporate and project management policies and practices, and ensuring the successful completion of projects by the group. Provide input to hiring, performance evaluation and performance management decisions.
• Maintain current knowledge of our Client’s family of products, application functionality and the high level architecture of Central’s hosting environment
• Perform other duties as required to deliver exceptional service and to support our Client’s business goals
